Setting the default soundcard (prevent switching)

Ever since Edgy Eft i've had problems with the default soundcard switching between my Creative Labs SB0400 Audigy2 Value soundcard and my Terratec Cinergy 400 SAA7134 TV card. Here's the solution with many thanks to the Comprehensive Sound Problems Solutions Guide.

Creative Labs SB0400 Audigy2 Value

Add the following to the bottom of /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base (with index=0 indicatating the default card):

options snd-emu10k1 index=0
options saa7134_alsa index=1
